About the speaker
JS Thurman is a husband, dad, Air Force veteran, business owner, and systems engineer who has built his career on a simple principle: experience is meant to be shared, not hoarded.
After serving five and a half years on active duty and continuing service as a USAF Reservist, JS transitioned to the private sector — bringing with him the discipline, leadership, and real-world problem-solving skills forged in uniform.
As a co-founder of a small manufacturing startup that secured federal contracts and navigated the hard realities of growth and exit, JS experienced firsthand the opportunities and obstacles that leaders and entrepreneurs face.
Today, through Archer Consulting LLC, he offers speaking engagements, workshops, and consulting services designed to help others avoid common pitfalls, build resilient teams, and create lasting value — in business, leadership, and life after service.
